At Grove Law PC (Soon to be Grove Law LLP) (“Grove,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) we collect personal information—meaning information that identifies or relates to you—when:
You contact us or send us information;
You hire us for legal services;
We work on legal matters;
You apply for a job with us;
You visit our offices;
You interact with our team or clients.
If you share someone else’s information with us, make sure you have their permission.
II. How We Use Personal Information
We use the personal information we collect for business and legal purposes, such as:
Providing legal services;
Communicating with you;
Responding to requests or applications;
Sending updates or marketing emails (only if you agree);
Protecting our systems and complying with the law.

III. Sharing and Location of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your personal information with others, under the following circumstances:
We will provide your personal information to our service providers to allow them to assist us with delivering the legal and other services that you have requested, such as:

Credit reference agencies,
Information technology and information security providers,
Legal service and technology providers,
Other industry or subject-matter experts, or
Records management providers.
We will share personal information with third parties as required in the course of providing you legal advice, representation, or services, including with respect to litigations, arbitrations, investigations, and transactions.
We will share personal information with law enforcement agencies, governmental authorities, or regulators where we are under a duty to disclose or share such information in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation, or if we reasonably consider that this is necessary to help prevent or detect fraud or other crime or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Grove, our clients, or others.
We will disclose personal information if you have consented to any disclosure to a third party.
IV. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information as long as needed for our legal work, to meet business or regulatory requirements, or as required by law.
V. Security
We have put in place measures to protect the security of your personal information.
These measures are intended to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, altered, disclosed, or used or accessed in an unauthorized way. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to only those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via email is not secure. Therefore, if you use email for communicating with us, we cannot guarantee that it will remain confidential while in transit.
VI. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access your personal information;
Correct or delete it;
Ask us to limit how we use it;
Move it elsewhere; and/or
File a complaint.

Opt out of sale (we don’t sell your data);
Be treated fairly, regardless of your privacy choices.
Categories We May Have Collected in the Past 12 Months
Over the past 12 months, we may have collected or received personal information, including:
Identifiers, such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers;
Personal information as defined by § 1798.80 of the California Consumer Privacy Act;
Characteristics of protected classifications, including race, religion, national origin, creed;
Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies;
Internet or other electronic network activity information;
Geolocation data;
Audio, electronic, and visual information;
Professional or employment-related information;
Education information;
Inferences drawn from personal information; and
Other sensitive information.
We do not sell your personal information.

VIII. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected such information, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete it.
IX. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice occasionally. The most recent version will always be posted on our website. Major changes may be announced directly.
